About Us.

Welcome! We are Carolyn and Dan, and we are designing and building our dream modern farmhouse in Upstate NY.

This will be the second time we are building a home but the first time completely managing the project ourselves. Dan has been in plumbing/HVAC since he was old enough to hold a wrench. With over 20+ years of experience working in residential and commercial buildings his knowledge of the construction industry is why we’ve decided to GC this project ourselves. In addition to design tips, inspiration, and DIYs we’ll be sharing technical knowledge and resources that set the foundation for building a new home.
